We developed Lifekey to empower you to access important medical data when it's needed most -- especially in an emergency.
Using your unlocked smartphone, simply hold it over the Lifekey symbol on any Lifekey device to access the person's data. If your smartphone is an Apple device, built before 2018, you'll need to have the Lifekey app installed to enable the scanner (Lifekey uses the same technology we use to pay with our phones).
What happens?
For them: When a Lifekey is scanned, the emergency contacts associated with the person will be notified automatically. The notification will include their GPS location.
For you: You'll receive important details provided by this person or their care providers intended for you.
